Over the past decade or so, villains in Turtles videogames have tended to amount to little outside of Shredder and the Foot Clan. Bepob and Rocksteady - once one of the mutant ninja's most famous adversaries - were rarely mentioned outside of off-hand references and occasional Easter Eggs. 2016 however, would appear to be their year.

The Michael Bay produced Turtles reboot also features the two bumbling henchmen of the Turtles' most popularised '80s incarnation, and on top of MIM featuring the return of these two in particular, the enigmatic Armaggon and Krang themselves are also receiving a comeback, albeit in a heavily stylised Platinum iteration.

It's symptomatic of the studio's all encompassing approach to the license, which can only spell good news for fans accustomed to all avenues of the Turtles mythos - whether that be the comics, TV shows, or otherwise.
