2. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
PS Coming in at number 2 on the chart is number 2 in the series, Tony really got it right with the second time around. Building on the gameplay of the first rendition, while adding loads of new tricks, most notable is the addition of the manual, allowing players to link tricks to create ridiculous combo scores. This was the game started to look like the gameplay style we see today, with unrealistic trick combos that feel great to execute. This game has arguably the best level design in the series, this is perhaps because the levels are based more on real locations, adding to the believability rather than trying to pack levels full of skatable objects. Rewarding videos at the end of each pro's career mode combined with the best Tony Hawk's soundtrack ever, make this one a great game. Best levels: School 2, Marseille and Venice Beach.
