Uncharted 4: 11 Things We Hated
8. The Ridiculously Easy Puzzles
One of the chief complaints about previous Uncharted games is that the puzzles are sometimes a little obtuse. It's not that they're difficult as such, but the games don't always give you the most sensible hints as to solving them, resulting in plenty of player frustration.
Naughty Dog are clearly aware of this and decided to go almost entirely in the other direction for number four. Here, not a single one of the puzzles is even remotely challenging once you've given them a cursory look.
Even the ones that require a little busy-work are generally incredibly easy to solve, though perhaps this in part stems from our familiarity with the series' conventions after almost a decade of playing these games.
Still, something a little more taxing wouldn't go amiss. Even something as epic as the Bell Tower puzzle would feel so much more momentous if there was more to it than "ring these bells in the order that your journal tells you to."
