Uncharted 4: 11 Things We Hated
9. All Those Damn Crates
As magnificent as so much of Uncharted 4 is, did we really need so many damn crate sections? To serve as downtime between the gorgeously-designed set-pieces, the player would often have to wait for their partner to knock a crate from a ledge, which they would then use to climb up to a platform.
Variations on this include the player being the one to push the crate off the ledge for their partner, or occasionally using their rope to hang from the crate and swing around to an otherwise inaccessible part of the map.
It's fine the first few times, but it gets tiresome quickly, especially as "steering" the crates isn't particularly graceful. If you thought the ladders were bad in The Last of Us, think again.
