4. You're ALWAYS The First On The Scene
Another one for the "but that's just the genre!" pile.
Yes, you're uncovering ruins and pathways that haven't been walked on or even thought of for hundreds of years, but only for the most part - occasionally you'll happen across places that are integral to your adventure, but that contain clues and items someone else would surely have stumbled across.
Obviously it's in favour of telling the story and linking Nate's thieving ways with that of Henry Avery's crew, but the abundance of notes and artefacts you find some hundred years later, are just a little bit too conveniently placed for the sake of that correlation.
