Even though this is the one anthology film pretty much no one asked for, nor wanted (I mean, how are you meant to top Harrison Ford as Solo?), chances are Visceral's game will have some relation to it. Maybe not a direct tie-in per-say - as EA have previously stated their commitment to make their titles totally separate from tales already being traversed by other mediums - but any Solo game a studio intends to construct will more than likely have to make moves at the discretion of the upcoming prequel, whilst also making further inroads with the Star Wars canon. This will all influence just when we'll find Solo in the Visceral title, but given EA's pragmatism towards money-making endeavours, you can at the very least expect it to release sometime near to the film so it can maximise its audience. Now that may be a heck of a long way off, but with what we know so far? It's probably going to be worth the wait. Do you think Visceral Games are working on a Han Solo game? Or are their talents being put to use elsewhere? Don't forget to leave a comment below!
