Clementine didn't have a whole lot of badass moments in Season 1, partly because most little children don't take to extreme violence that readily (well, at least not in any believable story - we're looking at you, Hit Girl) and partly because you were playing as Lee and most of the tough decisions and action-packed moments came down to him. Well, she can't rely on Lee to take care of her any more, and Clementine's quickly learning how to do the dirty work herself. Episode 1 wasn't exactly light on walker-killing or struggle for Clem, but most of what she's committed has been done on pure survival instinct - rarely premeditated, unlike her plan to bash this zombie's head in from behind with her new would-be guardian Luke. It's a nice little nod to Tyreese from the comics, who always carried a hammer with him instead of a gun, preferring to get up close and personal with the walkers instead of the safe approach. I'm sure Clementine and Luke are acting more out of necessity than preference of deadly weapon, however... Looks like little Clem's learning what it really takes to stay alive in this world.
