The further you go into this list, the more you will notice that a lot of stories of this Universe usually revolve around humans with biceps the size of boulders, two hearts and a kill tally in the millions. However, this recommendation focuses on a truly fascinating race, known as the Aeldari.

The Aeldari are a mysterious race cloaked in intrigue and yet are merely the remnants of a once great empire brought low by their own arrogance. (Space Elves inadvertently created a God who loved nothing more than to consume their souls! Opps!)

Gav Thorpe takes a close look at “modern” day Eldar life by examining their philosophy, The Path. The trilogy follows different Aeldari as they walk their chosen Aspect of The Path.

The first follows Korlandril down the martial Path of the Warrior, where he abandons his old Path in favour of venting his rage in glorious combat. It is a visceral read, full of unbridled hate given focus and highlights how truly brutal the Aeldari are.

The second focuses on the psychic might of the Aeldari and The Path of the Seer where Thirianna learns to master her powers and fight untold horrors in the Warp!

The third watches as Aradryan leaves the safety of his people to walk The Path of the Outcast where will it lead him; you’ll have to read to find out…
