8. Iron Warriors IV Legion
“Iron within, iron without” the mantra of the Iron Warriors.
Cold, logical and ruthless in their prosecution of their war against the Imperium. Masters of siege warfare they bring both their rabbles of mindless cultists and devastating heavy weapons to bear on their enemies.
Unlike many of their cousin legions, they have not fallen to the worship of any particular god and worship Chaos Undivided. Their relationship with daemons is of a more practical nature. Encasing daemonic essences within great war machines, to better help them break the enemy more efficiently.
Positives of playstyle
The Iron Warriors are able to ignore covering saves which allows both heavy and light weaponry to be more efficient against a dug in enemy.
Access to some of the most efficient stratagems in the game for vehicle destruction.
Amazing vehicle repair for one command point for Unholy Vigour to heal a vehicle for up to three wounds.
Negatives of playstyle
Very little specialist tools for close combat, apart from durability buffs like “Iron Within, Iron Without” that provides a 6+ Feel No Pain for 1 command point.
No named characters to choose from making them feel a tad generic.
They will always be in the shadow of the Imperial Fists when it comes to siege warfare.
