Watch Dogs: 10 Reasons It Might Disappoint
8. Glitches In The System
I've been playing Batman Arkham Origins for the past week, and while it's all pretty much awesome, I've found myself infuriated by the glitches that are plaguing it at seemingly every turn. Texture pop-in, essential upgraded locking themselves and refusing to unlock and even falling directly through buildings into the underworld below have all made an appearance at some point.
Open world games are often the most open to glitches - even GTA V was plagued by a massive number considering the high production values and the gloss Rockstar always bring. Their huge nature means so much can go wrong and due to Watch Dogs' hacking mechanics, things get infinitely more complex and open up the floodgates for the great river Glitchyness to run amok.
Hopefully with the extra months Ubisoft has to polish the game these will be mostly ironed out, but I'm predicting my fair share of glitches when Watch Dogs releases in 2014. I mean just look at Skyrim. Backwards flying dragons anyone?
