Who knew that shady dudes on street corners could cause you to blackout and dream you were capable of driving a huge, spider-shaped tank and causing citywide destruction? Packed full of fun, merriment and addictive gameplay, the digital trips in Watch Dogs mix up the core gameplay and deliver everything from the aforementioned Spidertank rampage to a crazy bouncing game where you bounce from flower to flower whilst simultaneously on acid. Then there's of course, the Carmageddon clone where you run down demons in a demon-soul fuelled super car of death. Awesome. We managed to lose hours in WD to the digital trips, simply because they're the rare exception to the generic gameplay structure of the rest of it. It's nice to just stop shooting at people for a bit and bounce around like a lunatic, and we're certainly hoping that Ubisoft realises that these moments in the game really helped make it much more exciting. Lots more digital trips in Watch Dogs 2 are certainly more than welcome. How about co-operative Spidertank rampages with a chum or a crazy crossover with Assassin's Creed?
