Watch Dogs 2 Review: 7 Ups & 6 Downs
3. It's (Mostly) Visually Stunning
The original Watch Dogs was a great-looking game despite all those pesky visual downgrades from the original demo, and WD2 presents another graphically impressive open-world.
Yes, there is a little slowdown from time to time (especially when driving fast) and the character lip sync is frequently awful, but San Francisco looks absolutely incredible for the most part, feeling like an actual living, breathing city, far more so than Chicago did in the first game.
Sure, it's no Uncharted 4, but then, what is? Plus, considering the ridiculous scope of the open-world and how seamless it feels, it's nothing if not a triumph.
