What Your Favourite Super Mario Bros Game Says About You

Super Mario Land

Super Mario FeaturedThe Game: When Nintendo first thought of releasing a hand held console it must have realised their best bet of getting people to take their hard earned cash out of their pockets and replace it with their portable gaming bricks would be to release a Mario game for the thing. As it turned out Tetris was far and away the main thing people would play as they were sat on a bus, train or toilet. Yes I said toilet. Back in those days the idea of being able to play a game on the go was so novel that people would combine saving princesses with making number two. The reason they would do it was because now they could! Yes indeed Mario's handheld console debut proved that you could have a home console quality experience in the palm of your hand. By the time it came out NES players were enjoying the glory of bigger sprites and levels that could scroll in multiple directions, but that didn€™t stop Nintendo releasing this game which was very reminiscing of the game play and look of the original Super Mario Bros game. And who can blame them? Close to thirty years later and SMB is still as good as ever so making this game in the same mould was no bad thing! What It Says About You: You love retro style Mario gameplay and you like it on the move. You think you€™re so cool when you go into the local library and the girl who works there widens her eyes as she looks down at your shorts and states the immortal words €œAre you pleased to see me or do you have an original Game Boy in your pocket?€ Soundbite: €œI believe that terrible graphics are the only way to be certain you€™re getting good game play!€ Favourite non Mario Games: Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic Chaos, Mega Man
