What Your Favourite Super Mario Bros Game Says About You

Super Mario Bros The Lost Levels

Super Mario BrosThe Game: This is the game which people in Japan called Super Mario Bros 2. In the west we call it Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels as we got the radically different Super Mario Bros 2 that we all know and love (Even though it€™s criticised) This game was little more than an expansion pack of the first Super Mario Bros game by today€™s standards. It featured the same graphics, game play and music, but just new levels. Much harder levels in fact. Yep, this is the game that picks up where the first game left off in more than just story terms. The game begins with the difficulty level seen in the last world of Super Mario Bros. In this sense Nintendo of America made the right choice to go a different route with the sequel. Mario€™s popularity was picking up steam to make him more famous then Mickey Mouse and it could have proved disastrous to alienate all the kids who loved Mario and bought the Mario PJs and Mario lunchboxes just because they aren€™t Mario masters. Easier game equals more fun for everyone and more money in Mario€™s coin collection. What The Game Says About You: You are the hardest of the hardcore Mario gamer. You€™ve whipped this game not only in its original NES form, but also in its Super Mario All-Stars incarnation (Both Super NES and Wii editions naturally) and finally on the Wii Virtual Console so you could play it in the original Japanese. Having done this proves that you are worthy of any and every challenge life can throw at you. You know it and because you want everyone else to know it you have a collection of custom built achievements in a display cabinet. Just because Nintendo doesn€™t do trophies doesn€™t mean that you don€™t! Soundbite: €œI am the toughest S.O.B in the Mushroom Kingdom!€ Favourite Non Mario Games: Mega Man 2, Ninja Gaiden Black
