Why Elder Scrolls Will Always Be Better Than Fallout
1. Releases And The Future
TES Online is a shining example of a game that has grown and adapted to cater to its fans, offering up a solid fantasy experience that covers the entirety of Tamriel in vivid realisation.
Fallout’s latest offering, 76, will definitely be scrutinised under the burning spotlight of such developments, but really, in a decimated world that'll be devoid of its own original mutants and full of other players, there seems to be little to be worth championing that you can’t get from a superior build.
Unless you just really love guns and sci-fi. In which case, fill your boots.
The next proper title of each game will herald something entirely different to anything we’ve ever seen before, but whilst we wait for either to arrive, it’s The Elder Scrolls that looks to give fans a gaming experience that will continually grow with its audience, not becoming constrained by the limitations of its own setting.
Fallout is a wonderful, special game, but TES is, and always will be, what fans will be desperate to see grow.
