11. It'll Take Place In The Modern Day

Although 2017's Wonder Woman film was set during the First World War, Montreal have apparently elected to set their game in the present. No doubt this will have something to do with wanting to crossover with Batman in some way, but still, the setting makes a great deal of sense, with the bulk of Diana's stories having been set in the modern day.
The thread itself doesn't mention if past settings could be incorporated in anyway, but given Montreal's apparent fondness for prequels, might it be possible that a few flashbacks come into play at some point or another? There's potential for it to happen, especially when history is such an integral aspect of the character, but for now, it's great to see that Diana will apparently get to mess around in the present with her superhero cohorts.
Marvel may currently be ready to start their own gaming universe, but given DC tried to start their own off first, could Wonder Woman be the character to make it all come together?
