Lets be honest, everyone wants to play this match and to re-create the moments that made it go down in history as the most barbaric and intense match in WWF history. Mankind and Undertaker had done battle before but they had never gone to such extremes. Many thought that the battle between Shawn Michaels and Taker was devastating but this was on a whole new level. We knew things were picking up when Mankind climbed the cage as he awaited the arrival of the Deadman. Only minutes into the match and the crowd were enlivened by the cage slightly giving way. If that hadnt grabbed their attention then the sight of Mick Foley plummeting towards the announcers table certainly did. The crowd went absolutely crazy at the unprecedented spot. The match appeared to be over as Mankind was stretchered away, until Foley began to smile and climb the cell again. Less than one minute later and Foley was chokeslammed through the metal roof, onto the mat below. With a tooth hanging from his nose and a concussion it shows great resilience on Foleys part that he can embrace such a level of pain. The pair eventually spent some time wrestling and falling onto thumbtacks - before a Tombstone finished off Mankind. It wasnt the greatest match technically but it created many moments that remain iconic today. Foley earned the support and the admiration of many that night for the many spots that pushed his body to the absolute limit. Every person who plays the Attitude Era Mode will be awaiting this match.
