Shawn Michaels was ready to retire he didnt even participate at No Way Out of Texas (one of the PPVs not in the game) despite being the WWF Champion due to the injury sustained at Royal Rumble. Austins victory at the Royal Rumble confirmed one of the most anticipated matches in wrestling. DX tried their best to thwart the challenge but the Rattlesnake just kept coming back for more. In Michaels last match of the nineties he faced Stone Cold at WrestleMania XIV, with Mike Tyson acting as the special enforcer. After almost twenty minutes HBK attempted a Sweet Chin Music but Austin countered it with a Stunner. Tyson who was previously thought to be supporting DX entered the ring and made the count.
