Punk's idolisation of Savage is very clear, right down to Punk's aesthetic tribute and his use of Macho Man's diving elbow drop, and the pair were remarkably similar in terms of their presentation. Both can talk, and are heavy weight performers, giving the crowd true spectacle, so the opportunity to create a classic match between the pair seems a no-brainer. Ironically, both Punk and Savage were idols who somewhat unfortunately found themselves in the shadow of even bigger stars - the former to Cena, and the latter to Hulk Hogan - and both men have served the brand well, particularly in their commitment to making spectacles happen. Both have move-sets that push spectacle and technical flair to the front, and the bout would be a genuine crowd-pleaser, so creating it in WWE 2K14 should be an instant essential.
