5. The Rock Vs Shawn Michaels
Very much the classic that should have happened, The Rock vs Shawn Michaels has been a major fan fantasy for years, and with Michaels now retired and Rocky making any movie requiring a giant, affable hulk of a man as a character, it's unlikely we'll actually get to see this one in the ring. The roster inclusions of two versions of each character will allows players of WWE 2k14 to face off either retro versions of the characters, or the later versions (or a mix of the two depending on your inclination - including, of course a fourway) to settle one of the longest running feuds in WWE history. Though the pair apparently put their problems behind them in 2008, there was a lot of bad blood between them, after Johnson felt Michaels was disrespectful to his grandmother Lia Maivia at a wrestling show. Bret hart then confirmed in 2007 that Michaels and Triple H hated Johnson, thanks in part to his popularity and because of Hart's endorsement, and that the pair conspired to sabotage Rocky's career in favour of Hunter's ascension to the top of the company. Depending on where your allegiance lies, this bout would provide players the opportunity to work out that bad blood, as well as seeing two great wrestlers in their prime setting some fireworks off.
Who Should Win? The Rock In a particularly close-fought battle, The Rock should emerge victorious, since Michaels' dislike of him seems to have been based at least partly in jealousy, and that just isn't reason enough for victory.
