WrestleMania III: Intercontinental Champion Macho Man Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat
Consistently rated as one of the greatest matches in professional wrestling history, the Steamboat/Savage bout from WrestleMania III is a pure wrestling clinic, no doubt about it. The bout lasted for fifteen minutes - which was extremely long at the time - and is noted for its violent intensity, as well as George "The Animal" Steele stopping Savage from using the ring bell on Steamboat. In the end, Steamboat clinched the win - and the IC strap - with a small package.
WrestleMania III: WWE Champion Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant
Though from a wrestling perspective it was outdone by the above match, there was nothing quite like the fever pitch that built around Hulk Hogan's standoff against Andre the Giant. Of course, the defining moment of the match, and the event itself, is Hogan's eventual body slam of the 500-plus-pound Andre, before executing a leg drop and retaining the WWF Championship. There's never been a moment quite like it ever since.
