3. New Matches, Such As Buried Alive
A lot of the matches in WWE 2k14 were enjoyable, with old favourites such as table matches, TLC, cage and Hell In a Cell more than enough to keep you entertained - but there's always room for more. Next year, I want to see the return of Buried Alive, which featured in SmackDown! vs. Raw 2006 but has since dropped out of the series. Given how Undertaker-centric '14 was, I'm surprised this didn't feature. The rules of the match are simple - weaken your opponent, through them in the casket and watch gleefully as a cut-scene shows them being buried under a mountain of earth, achieved after completing an interactive mini-game. We'd also like to see the Stretcher Match - a bout fought in the past on WWE programming by Batista and Shawn Michaels as well as Randy Orton and Triple H - and its variant the Ambulance Match, which is won by putting your opponent in the back of an ambulance and closing the door.
