4. Legends Who Are Worthy Of The Title
Legends are a big part of unlockables in the WWE video game series, with players being rewarded with long-gone stars such as Andre The Giant, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage after completing various objectives. One thing that stuck in my craw this year was the inclusion of Batista as a legend. Batista, who left the WWE in 2012, is included as a legend in the 30 Years of WrestleMania mode, which makes a bit of sense given he was necessary in order to replicate the WrestleMania 23 match with the Undertaker, but as far as Im concerned, legends should be limited to WWE Hall of Famers. Unlockables are supposed to be a special reward for those who have invested time completing challenges, and giving us a superstar who was on the main roster just a couple of years ago seems to cheapen that reward system somewhat.
