I know a lot of people like it, but a pet hate for me in recent WWE games is the pin system, which is an extremely unforgiving timing-based video game, and can result in some pretty humiliating defeats if you're not used to playing the game. Yes, practice makes perfect, but the first few times I encountered this pin system, it just totally confused me, and I found myself being pinned after being dropkicked by an opponent because I screwed up my timing. I for one much prefer the button bashing method: it may be basic, require little skill and has the potential to be abused online with the use of special turbo controllers, but I feel that something as simple as a pinfall doesn't need to be anymore complicated than that.
