As I've already mentioned, Yuke's have made it very clear how keen they are to tap into nostalgia, to the point of including countless variations of classic wrestlers in their game, be it by way of an alternate character or another costume. Wrestlers such as The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Triple H have a ridiculous number of character models each, and though it doesn't seem to be an issue of these dupes taking us precious space, it's that they're using precious developer time to focus on other wrestlers. I, for one, don't really need half a dozen Undertakers or whatever they might decide for the next game, and certainly not if it's going to pull resources away from keeping the game up to date with the latest roster. It's absurd how early the cut-off is for new superstars (apparently just after WrestleMania), and how little Yuke's use DLC to beef the roster up throughout the year. If this is their prerogative, I'd rather they stick to no more than 2 or 3 attires/alternates per wrestler, and that would easily save 15-20 slots for up-and-coming talent. A compromise, I'd say.
