You can't have an ultimate Royal Rumble match without the man that won the first ever. Jim Duggan outlasted 20 other men back in 1988 to claim the win in a match that lasted just over 30 minutes. Hacksaw entered at number 13 and spent just under half of the match in the ring. He gained three eliminations to his name, the last of those being One Man Gang. Duggan was being double teamed by OMG and Dino Bravo and ducked an attempted hit by the gang that mistakenly sent Dino over the top rope. Hacksaw, who celebrated his 61st birthday last week, capitalised on the confusion to eliminate OMG and write his name in the history books.
