Last year we witnessed 2K attain a great deal of publicity from promoting WWE 2K14 alongside The Ultimate Warrior. It got the internet talking and the video vignettes were brilliantly produced. It worked out well for both sides and Warrior really benefited the selling of the game, with his character also coming as a bonus character for pre orders. With WWE 2K15 the makers should take this strategy further, casting recent WWE signing Sting in the Warrior role and having him return in line with the game. This could all go down with Sting being announced as the 'face of 2K15', with his return built around the game. When he finally shows up on Raw it could be done in October to shill the product. Sting would descend from the rafters and announce he is here to become an icon of the gaming world, revealing that the Sting character will be included in the 2K15 roster starting line up with an additional Sting story mode. The star would then reveal he was also back to take on someone he always wanted to face at Wrestlemania. Pointing to the titantron the 2K15 logo would come up, transitioning into gameplay action of Sting facing Undertaker at Wrestlemania. It would be a great angle and would gain mega attention for the game, essentially using 2K15 to announce one of the most anticipated matches of all time.
