Goldberg's popularity was made clear in 2013, when his DVD dominated as the year's best seller. 2K and WWE should have taken note, fans still possess a keen appetite for anything Bill Goldberg. He was featured in WWE 2K14 but there's no news on him being in 2K15. Goldberg commented on his status this past July, tweeting If Im not mistaken, Im not even in the game." Hopefully something did get worked out, or maybe Goldberg just wasn't aware of what his agents had negotiated. It would definitely feel a miss if the superstar was omitted after being such a great part of 2K14. Our only hope is that Goldberg and 2K have kept plans under wraps for some sort of DLC extravaganza. A Goldberg pack would be a lot of fun, and it could incorporate a Showcase Rivalry download for Goldberg vs NWO. That was one of WCW's most defining feuds, something which always pops well for nostalgia purposes. Pitting Goldberg against Hulk Hogan would be a great rivalry match for the game to utilise.
