An Owen Hart appearance in a modern WWE game will probably never happen, but that doesn't prevent us from wanting it nevertheless. His tragic departure in a WWE ring caused a huge legal battle, which has left the bridges well and truly burned between the WWE and Owen's family. Owen Hart was a truly great competitor who never got a chance to reach his full potential and become a World Champion, which he certainly deserved. He's most well known for being in the Hart Foundation, and his epic rivalries with Bret Hart, British Bulldog and Stone Cold Steve Austin, among others. He was a two-time Intercontinental Champion and had numerous success tag-team runs with British Bulldog, other members of the Hart family and Yokozuna. After his death, his likeliness appeared in Legends of Wrestling 2 and its sequels, but he's not been featured in a WWE wrestling game since WWF Attitude in 1999. Given that Ultimate Warrior, Randy Savage and others eventually appeared in WWE games despite their disputes, there's a small chance that the Hart/WWE issues could be resolved with some kind of deal being made for Owen's likeliness. Owen Hart would be a fantastic DLC legend as he's one of the last deserving superstars to not appear in modern games due to legal issues, but it's likely that he'll never appear.
