6. Austin Vs Kane - First Blood WWF Title Match - King Of The Ring 1998
Stone Cold Steve Austin's first WWF title loss was to Kane, at the June 28 1998 King Of The Ring. You would have thought that this major career milestone would be in Austin mode, especially considering 2K obviously have the rights to feature Kane. Maybe they decided against using it because of the loss aspect, or maybe it is to do with the blood stipulation. The match itself was entertaining, and Kane won when Undertaker inadvertently whacked Austin with a steel chair. It caused the Rattlesnake to bleed, and as per the stipulation, he lost the match and the title. Austin then won the title back, the very next night on Raw. WWE 2K16 could have easily featured this narrative in the showcase mode, and here's hoping that maybe it could still end up in there.
