For those wrestling fans upset about the fact that Daniel Bryan is currently on the injury list, WWE 2K16 more than makes up for that by providing the chance to play as the man. In truth, Bryan is one of the best characters to play as in the entire game, because he has a wide range of moves at his disposal. Strikes obviously play a major role. The man's main finisher, a Running High Knee plays into this strategy well. It's easy to perform, simply sprinting out of the corner and triggering at the right moment, and is so quick that it's hard even for other human players to defend against. Then, there's the man's submission moves, which may prove trickier for some to win matches with. The new submission struggle mini-game doesn't help proceedings. It's not that the idea is flawed, it's just perhaps not as easy to grasp for some as simply hitting a running strike at the right moment. Players who aren't keen on the system should steer clear of Bryan, because the Yes Lock demands it.
