WWE 2K16: 10 Wrestlers More Deserving Of Being Cover Star

8. Dolph Ziggler

Despite the fact that 2015 has seen much of Dolph Ziggler's momentum fade away, he remains a firm fan-favourite and is no doubt one of the WWE's most talented Superstars. Following an impressive showing at last year's Survivor Series, it appeared as if Ziggler was destined to return to the main event scene, but the fact that didn't happen could ultimately be what stopped the show off from being built up to a level where him being awarded the WWE 2K16 cover would have been a given. Still, had that happened, it could have been the start of a well-deserved push for Ziggler, especially if a marquee match had been found for him at SummerSlam next month (a grudge match with Rusev over Lana doesn't exactly fit the bill). Most fans agree that Ziggler is one of those talents who is being horribly underutilised by the WWE, so using the cover of this game as an excuse to at least give him one more chance in the main event and/or WWE World Heavyweight Championship scene could have done wonders for his career. It would have also potentially cemented him as a bona fide star, something which would have ultimately been far more beneficial to the company than looking to the past and focusing on Stone Cold Steve Austin.
