WWE World Heavyweight Title TLC Match: Randy Orton vs. John Cena TLC 2013 This match would see the introduction of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the unification of both the WWE and World Heavyweight Titles held by Randy Orton and John Cena respectively heading into the December Pay-Per-View in 2013. Sure, a lot of people would have preferred seeing Daniel Bryan in one of those spots considering the events of the previous SummerSlam, but theyd get their wish at WrestleMania. This was still a defining moment in the confirmation of the current era, with no brand extension and one champion to rule all, whether it was a smart decision or not. Randy Orton would emerge victorious in this one, solidifying himself as The Authoritys chosen one and as the face of the WWE. The titles have been unified ever since, and an established veteran and bona fide Hall of Famer like Randy Orton was the right first candidate, in my opinion. This pivotal moment in recent history is easily playable in WWE 2K16, especially since both previous championship belt designs are available to use.
