WWE 2K16 Ultimate Wishlist: 10 Features It Must Include
4. Or... Create A Virtual Currency To Spend On DLC Packs
This is used in other games already. For example, in EA Sports' FIFA series, playing and winning games gives you coins to spend on unlockable features such as footballs and football boots. This would be easily implemented in WWE 2K16. How about whenever you win a match, complete an objective or explore a new area of WWE 2K16 you are awarded a certain amount of coins to spend on the unlockable features and DLC packs? It goes without saying, this ploy would represent a huge loss of cash for both WWE and 2K Sports, who know that there will always be those hardcore fans that will spend any amount of cash on quite literally anything that they release. But from a shear ethical standpoint, surely the two companies owe it to their loyal fanbase to avoid charging them endless sums of money for things that don't deserve to have a price tag attached to them. It would also lengthen the life span of the game. One of the many criticisms of 2K15 is that it doesn't go very far. On the PS4/Xbox One, once you've completed the career mode and Showcases, there's nothing much else to do. But if you had an attainable goal for doing certain things over and over again, maybe there would be less complaints. Giving away coins to spend on future DLC packs just makes sense.
