You can't rule it out can you? This could be a new yearly feature for our WWE games, which I wouldn't mind due to the plethora of stars that go into the hall each year. It will, of course, become a tad boring in a couple of years time...
If this was to become a regular thing for our wrestling games, 2K might have to stump up another showcase mode to prevent some sort of backlash that would inevitibly come their way.
Just looking at the stellar cast that went into the hall this year makes this even more of a possibility. There's such a variety of different styles of star from differing eras which would appeal to so much of the WWE gaming universe that it almost makes sense to do it.
