This would be something truly special and is arguably just too fanciful for the developers at 2K to even comprehend. Picture this, you're browsing the WWE Network and come across a match you want to re-create on your WWE game. What if there was a button that took you from a match on the network and set it up for you on 2K17? You'd then have to complete certain checkpoints that happened in the real life version to advance onto another one. Obviously, since there are around 122,456,778 (roughly) matches on the network, this would have to be limited to a certain period of time, or a particular show. This would then see 2K have the mode evolve over many years until the entire library of footage is accounted for. Would this become too repetitive over time? Perhaps. Imagine if they had someone running the servers alongside a live pay per view on the Network so you could immediately re-book a finish that doesn't please you. Xbox already does this with fantasy football where they have someone update their side panel as the games are happening. It's possible, but it would take a lot of work.
