1. The Biggest Roster To Date

2K17 boasts the biggest roster of any game in the series to date, with more than 150 wrestlers when including DLC.

Wrestling games sure have come a long way from when 40-60 wrestlers used to be the normal roster count, and while this does mean that 2K have visually cut corners on some superstars, it does provide an enormous amount of possibility from a fan service perspective, especially regarding dream matches.

Yes, there are notable omissions (The Club and The Million Dollar Man, anyone?), but on the whole, it's ludicrously comprehensive and sets an incredible precedent that future games are now basically duty-bound to follow.
