WWE 2K18: 10 Biggest Innovations We Need To See

1. Occasional Live Updates

Perhaps the biggest problem with WWE 2K17 is that the game feels outdated very quickly. We're not just talking about how WWE's product has changed by the time each title is released (2K have to stop developing a good few months before the game comes out), but more bemoaning the lack of regular updates.

Other games feature this as standard. Boot up FIFA and 'live updates' fix player stats to reflect what's going on in the real sport; even 2K's own NBA franchise includes this kind of thing, so that up-to-the-minute attention to detail needs to bleed over into the WWE video games too.

Instead of player transfers though, brand switches could be reflected. Should teams form or break up, then that would be shown in-game too. Further, if 2K were feeling particularly bold, they could even have the announcers return to the studio and record fresh dialogue every now and then.

This is long overdue.
