Everyone who has picked up any of 2K's WWE titles knows the feeling of frustration as a worn-down opponent easily reverses your finishing move, instantly stripping the momentum bar and forcing you to build it back up. That's just annoying, and there must be a smarter way to do things than unrealistic reversals that feel more scripted than a Roman Reigns promo.

When you have an opponent (literally) on the ropes, he/she shouldn't be able to fight back like the match is 2 minutes in and they're super human. WWE matches do have peaks and troughs for sure, but these games make so much noise about being simulation experiences. This is one arcade-like gameplay quirk that must disappear if we're continuing down the sim route.

Yes, it's possible to adjust the sliders and make it harder for the CPU to counter, but who wants to spend time doing that when there's a game to play? It's up to the developers to make the game fun and smooth, not those who buy it.
