WWE 2K18: 10 Biggest Innovations We Need To See

5. The Cruiserweights Having A Different Style

Fire up 2K17, play a match as Seth Rollins then one as Big Show and it becomes clear the game does cater to different sized wrestlers. Show plays differently to Rollins, but only because he's not quite as nimble or doesn't have the agility Seth does. Should 2K feature Cruiserweights in 2K18, those unique traits across the WWE roster need to be expanded upon.

For example, Neville should be way more slick than anyone in the Heavyweight division, and the same goes for all his Cruiser chums. WWE have already botched the Cruiserweight division in real-life, so we don't need 2K following suit in the video games. The reigning champ of the division must become one people enjoy playing as.

Forget the purple ropes or 'this is a special attraction, honest' presentation, because it'd be much more satisfying if picking Cruiser stars in 2K18 had benefits. On that note, it's time playing as tag-teams felt unique too, rather than like 2 singles stars have just been shoved together without meeting before bell time.
