WWE 2K18: 10 Forgotten Things You Can Still Do
8. Customise Your Own Difficulty
Quick tip: unless you don't mind growing more and more frustrated with long CPU beat downs, turn off the limit on reversals. Five per match just isn't enough, especially with the frequency of grapple and finisher reversals computer-controlled characters are capable of. It's a good thing then that 2K lets players set their own balance.
The developer do strive for simulation, but remember these games are supposed to be fun. There's nothing enjoyable about grafting to see that cool new finisher, only for the CPU to reverse it even though you've been hammering them for 10 minutes. It's not realistic, and it detracts from the flow of matches. Set your own rules.
In the options menu, it's possible to make the game easier or harder, depending on your preference, by messing around with all manner of sliders. You can adjust how often the CPU reverses everything from strikes and grapples to finishers and weapon shots. Another menu even enables you to increase the time window for your own reversals too.
