WWE 2K18: 10 Forgotten Things You Can Still Do
5. Use The Old School Blue Steel Cage
According to legends like Mick Foley, that classic blue-barred Steel Cage hurt like hell when you were sent careening into it. The mesh WWE use now is a bit more forgiving. It'll still hurt, but it moves with a wrestler's body a little better. 2K18's options for Cage matches still allow you to enjoy that old-school flavour.
Go into the options menu before playing inside the Cage and you'll be given the chance to change which type of structure to wrestle in. The current model is 2K's default, naturally, but players can also choose from blue or black bars from yesteryear. That's a nice addition if you're playing as superstars from the past, who won't have worked in the mesh.
Older fans will get a kick out of seeing the blue steel once more. There's a chance WWE may never use it again in real life, so it's great to see a childhood favourite in the video games. Even better is the chance to recreate classic matches like Triple H vs. Mankind from SummerSlam 1997.
