WWE 2K18: 10 Most Wanted New Features

1. General Manager Mode

Fans who picked up a copy of SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 would have been disappointed to learn that the General Manager Mode had been removed from the features list; first introduced in SmackDown vs. Raw 2006, the GM Mode offered up a unique simulation feel that captured the imaginations of many.

That customisation is key to any WWE game's success, because people just love tinkering with brand rosters, making their own matches and playing out their own storylines. In essence, GM Mode was like a 'God Mode', and the much-maligned Universe Mode has been a poor replacement in recent years.

After the brand extension last Summer, it makes sense to put a mode in there allowing players to assume the role of General Manager on Raw or SmackDown Live; making this even more essential is the faux-rivalry between figures like Mick Foley and Daniel Bryan on television, backed up by Stephanie and Shane McMahon respectively.

There's so much scope for this mode, including the threat of being fired by one Commissioner or even the player deciding they'd rather move over to the other brand themselves.

Make it happen, 2K.
