WWE 2K18: 7 New Gameplay Tweaks You Need To Know
1. Squash Matches Have Been Included
Not every single WWE match is a WrestleMania-worthy epic. 2K (and THQ before them) played around with this idea by allowing players to change how quickly their momentum bar fills up. Things have been taken to a whole new level with the squash match feature though. Finally, playing as Goldberg feels like one of his matches.
Larger wrestlers such as Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, Big Show, Kane, The Undertaker and Braun Strowman can now launch into a squash by hitting a running attack on foes as soon as the bell rings. There's even an option in the sliders menu to decide how often squashes happen.
Trigger a squash successfully and you'll have a much easier time beating opponents. It only takes 2/3 moves to fill the momentum bar, and your finishers become much harder for the CPU to kick out of. If you play regularly as the bigger guys and just want them to mow down everything in their path, this is a welcome gameplay tweak.
