3. There's A Physical Collector's Reward

Last year, the collector's edition for WWE 2K17 focused on NXT in a limited run of games that only the lucky few willing to pay a premium could get their hands on. The game came bundled with exclusive superstars, a built-in points boost in Career Mode and several physical rewards, like a lithograph canvas, a Topps NXT Takeover London Mat Relics Card (including an actual piece of the ring canvas used at the special event), and an exclusive Finn Balor bust.

It would seem that we'll be getting more of the same for this year's edition, which is unlikely to be an NXT version, but will probably come with another figure and other rewards. We know that much thanks to 2K Games' infographic mapping out the rewards for each edition.

So who could be the focus of the Collector's Edition this year? The right choice would be The Undertaker, given his retirement, and there'd be lots of scope to have a couple of special variant characters in there for him too. That would also be the kind of edition that would sell lots, which 2K and WWE have to be considering.

Time will tell what we'll get.
