WWE 2K18: Predicting All 130 Superstar Ratings
100. Mickie James: 72
Last year's rating: n/a
Turned face with absolutely no reasoning behind it really set the tone for Mickie's current run as part of the RAW roster. She's better than what she's been given so far, but her sporadic appearances on television means she'll be one of the lower ranked female stars in the game unfortunately.
99. Neville: 84
Last year's rating: 78
Neville is the best, isn't he? Unfortunately he's got that ceiling that is being part of the 205 and under division that will prevent him from getting the rating his talents, both in-ring and on the mic, truly deserve.
98. Nia Jax: 85
Last year's rating: 81
Nia's in a weird spot at the moment. While she dismantles the lesser names in the female ranks and put on dominant displays while in there with the more established names, she doesn't pick up too many wins when they matter. This lack of Ws in the big matches will prevent her from matching the ratings of the Sashas and Charlottes of this world but that's not to say she won't get up to those levels eventually.
97. R-Truth: 70
Last year's rating: 71
Meh.
96. Rhyno: 75
Last year's rating: n/a
While Heath Slater has more of the WWE Universe behind him Rhyno is cast as the muscle who gets the job done with a Gore when the pair are in the ring. This stronger booking is the reason I think Rhyno will just pip his partner in the ratings stakes.
95. Roman Reigns: 94
Last year's rating: 89
'BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! He should be rated 24 he's rubbish!' Ah, get over yourselves will you?!
Roman Reigns has seemingly retired The Undertaker and looks like being the man who will end Brock Lesnar's current reign as the Universal Championship and those two things alone should is more than enough to see his rating go up five-fold.
94. Samoa Joe: 88
Last year's rating: 87
Going for an 87 to an 88 is no small achievement in WWE's video games you know...
After being made to look like several million dollars during his feud with Brock Lesnar, and backing up the booking with his performances in the ring and on the mic, Samoa Joe is surely destined for better things both on RAW in WWE's real life ring and in the virtual version to boot!
93. Sasha Banks: 87
Last year's rating: 86
Even though she recently lost to Bayley on RAW in that number one contender's match for the red brand's Women's Championship Sasha Banks is still great, isn't she? There's not too much to add here. She's just one of the best female wrestlers on the planet today and her rating in WWE 218 will surely reflect that.
Her increase is deserved when you just look at some of the performances she's put into some of the high profile matches she's been a part of in the last 12 months.
92. Scott Dawson: 81
Last year's rating: 77
See Dash Wilder.
91. Seth Rollins: 93
Last year's rating: 93
Seth Rollins hasn't connected as a babyface just yet but that hasn't stopped WWE from thinking that he's marketable enough to put on the cover of 2K18.
The Architect was great as a heel and while things haven't hit the heights I'm sure he expected as a face just yet I don't think they're going to make the cover star look any weaker compared to last year. Even though some could argue a slight demotion is justified, I think his status in this year's game will save him.
