WWE 2K18: Predicting All 130 Superstar Ratings

110. Goldust: 74

Goldust 2k
WWE/2K

Last year's rating: 70

Goldust has broken the shackles of R Truth and is back with a variation of the schtick that made him so popular in the 90s. This rejuvenated mean streak should see him taken a hell of a lot more seriously and more televised wins should see his rating in 2K18 increase ever so slightly.

109. Heath Slater: 74

WWE/2K

Last year's rating: 72

While absolutely nothing has come of his recent transfer to RAW, Heath Slater became one-half of the first ever SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions with some fire merch so he should be on for an increase in 2K18.

108. Jeff Hardy: 84

Jeff Hardy 2k
WWE/2K

Last year's rating: n/a

It's quite hard to predict how The Hardy Boyz will be scored in 2K18 but since tag team wrestlers are usually looked upon as weaker wrestlers than single stars in WWE I expect them to be marked down a few points from what you might believe they deserve.

107. Kalisto: 80

Kalisto 2k
WWE/2K

Last year's rating: 79

I know he's doesn't mean anything to you at all but Kalisto has a win over Braun Strowman to his name this year... If that isn't worthy of the slightest of increases in ratings I don't know what is.

106. Karl Anderson: 81

Karl Anderson 2k
WWE/2K

Last year's rating: n/a

Topsy turvy booking that makes The Club strong one week and then complete mugs the next has put a pretty low ceiling on their potential score in 2K18. Given the way any tag team can win on any given night I expect all the defined tag team stars to be rated around the same (The Hardyz are more popular of course and have singles pedigree so will be higher)

105. Kurt Angle: 91

Kurt Angle 2k
WWE/2K

Last year's rating: n/a

Having seen Kurt Angle wrestle in person twice in the last year I can confirm that he can still go. However, the in-ring version of the current RAW GM we'll get in the new game will be based on the wrestling machine we saw in WWE from '99-'06 so his rating is bound to be one of the best in the game due to the fact that back then he arguably was the best in the game, if you catch my drift.

104. Luke Gallows: 81

WWE/2K

Last year's rating: n/a

He's big, he's strong, but he's also a tag team wrestler and we know what happens to them in WWE video games.

103. Mark Henry: 78

Mark Henry 2k
WWE/2K

Last year's rating: 78

This is more than likely the last WWE game we'll get where Mark Henry is part of the current day main roster which is a shame. He's confirmed he's going to be taking a backstage role and will be retiring later this year. While he hasn't been seen on RAW in some time, the size and strength of the man means his score shouldn't dip lower than it already has.

102. Maryse: 72

Maryse 2k
WWE/2K

Last year's rating: n/a

Maryse is a hard one to score because she's a fantastic manager and part of the reason The Miz's perception within the WWE Universe has changed so drastically over the past year; but she's also a wrestler at heart and a former Divas Champion... I guess since she isn't wrestling regularly that she won't be rated as high as some of her counterparts.

101. Matt Hardy: 83

Matt Hardy 2k
WWE/2K

Last year's rating: n/a

Vince has always preferred Jeff so I expect him just to pip Matt to a higher rating in 2K18 even if we all know that in terms of popularity at least Broken trumps Brother Nero.
