WWE 2K18 Wishlist: 11 Things It Must Include
1. The Brand Split
One of the main complaints levied against WWE 2K17 was that it was outdated before it even came out. That was because the roster split - which once again divided WWE into two separate "promotions," Raw and Smackdown - was announced in May and happened in July, and couldn't be incorporated into the finished product of the game.
As a result, career mode boasts a single roster, four championships (remember, there's no women's championship), and The Authority as top heels. It would have been really appropriate a year ago, but that's just not what WWE looks like right now.
Thankfully, it's pretty much a given that this will be addressed in 2K18. Raw and Smackdown will be separate brands, with all of the attendant titles and authority figures and announcers and whatnot. Presumably, career mode will offer players the chance to jump from one brand to the other, eventually conquering all of WWE. It'll add more depth to the game, and more realism, as well.
