WWE 2K18 Wishlist: 11 Things It Must Include
10. Women's Wrestling In Career Mode
Over the past couple of years, women's wrestling in WWE has undergone a major renovation. It started in NXT, where the level of competition in the division easily outdid that of the main roster's, but when Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch came up to WWE, it was clear that the company was interested in boosting the image of women's competition. In 2016, women's wrestling was more essential to WWE than ever before.
Unfortunately, that hasn't been reflected in 2K17. While there are many female wrestlers represented in the game - as well as Nia Jax in DLC and legends like Lita and Trish Stratus to unlock - there's no way to use them (or even see them) in career mode. Users playing career mode are forced to play as male superstars, and in fact, there's no women's wrestling on any of the cards presented.
A women's career mode may be difficult given that there are fewer wrestlers and titles, but it would be a very valuable addition to a future version of the game.
