WWE 2K19: 10 Biggest Innovations We Need To See
7. Authentic Royal Rumble Presentation
Royal Rumbles in recent WWE games are much slower and more measured experiences than they used to be. For the most part, that's a good thing, and it makes the difficulty of going from #1 to the end a lot more challenging. It should be.
A few minor tweaks here and there would really bring the mode to life however.
Those split-screen moments (the traditional corner cam WWE use in real life) showing the next entrant should be the first port of call. It's such a small touch, and yet it's one that again plays into that immersion 2K claim to adore presenting. Other than that, the Rumble needs more of a sense that anything can happen.
Wrestlers should be able to exit the ring through the ropes and brawl outside. Further, weapons would be a nice touch, add a different dynamic to a match presented as one without any disqualification rules and give players more freedom.
